Eco Systems - Ground Source Pumps, Rainwater harvesting & Solar Pannels. |

Ground Source Heat Pumps are Ecologically sound with average savings of between 50-70% on your annual running costs.
A borehole of between 50 - 80 meters requires specialist drilling equipment. Boreholes are used where there is limited space availiable otherwise a groundloop is used.
Ground loops consist of a series of pipes buried in the garden at a depth of 1 metre. The ground temperature at this depth is fairly constant between 7 and 13°C throughout the year. The heat pump uses a ground loop (pipe) with a water and glycol mix to "capture" some of this heat.
Rainwater Harvesting Systems.
Rainwater can be used inside to feed WCs and washing machines. Installing a domestic system is more straightforward in a new-build home, but with some alterations to down-pipes and interior plumbing, a system can be added to existing houses. Water tanks of 2000 to 7000 litres are needed for feeding the home Ayelle can supply & fit the accessories needed, including pumps, super filters and a mains switchover panel which transfer the rainwater supply system to the mains if the tank runs out.
Solar panels - There are two types of devices that collect energy from the sun:
Solar photovoltaic modules use solar cells to convert light from the sun into electricity which is then stored in solar batteries (batteries specifically for this purpose).
Solar thermal collectors use the sun's energy to heat water or another fluid such as oil or antifreeze.
Ayelle can specify and fit both of these system to your home although planning law may have an impact on where (and indeed if) you can install these systems.
